The Designer

I fell in love with costume design in the theatre department of my alma-mater, Marshall University. The fabrics, the details, the endless possibilities of designing and sewing from scratch. After graduating, my new sewing abilities matched perfectly with my entrepreneurial spirit, and after 15 years of owning a successful business doing custom clothing and alterations, I decided to sell my brick and mortar and focus on my original designs. In the past 25 years my creative evolution has taken me from selling my handmade hats on the festival circuit to a children's clothing line for Tamarak to weddings dresses and currently leather goods. Nothing brings me greater joy than making my own unique, whimsical creations.

I feel most alive when I am creating a product that is truly one-of-a-kind. By sourcing fabrics from cast away clothing, vintage linens and old leather jackets, each piece reflects its own uniqueness.
